Well I'm 23 years old, I'm shy and have a lot of blonde moments. I attended the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. After finishing school I moved home where I planned on starting my career in a large accounting firm. However plans don't always go the way you plan on them going. My close friend announced his running in an upcoming election and asked for my help on his campaign. Of course I said yes, my career could wait a few months. I also got two jobs at local bars to keep my nights busy. This change in plans was the best thing I could ever ask for.
One night just near the end of the campaign trail we all needed to have a break and let loose. I managed to get the night off at the bar and headed there instead as a patron. This happened to be the night I met the love of my life. Little did I know that my plans were about to change again. This man I had meet played professional hockey for the local team.
As I finished off on the campaign (he won) this man and I dated when we could find the time, after I got off work from the bar, breakfast dates before his practices even attending his hockey games together while he was injured. After only a month he found out he was being reassigned to a team not only across the country but in another country. I was devastated it happened to be 3 days before Christmas but then he insisted I go with him. After the month we had spent together we both new we had meet our match. So I went.
Two years later were engaged, have spent a season in Europe, and have a lovely dog together. With a new team each year I haven't bothered with starting my career. I meet someone who is living his dream and I'm okay living his dream with him for now. I have learned some much about myself and met so many amazing people along the way.
